Get Started in Minutes
Visit Chrome Web Store
Click the "Install from Chrome Web Store" button at the top of this page or search for "Text2Color for Canva" in the Chrome Web Store.
Add to Chrome
Click the "Add to Chrome" button on the extension's page in the Chrome Web Store.
Confirm Installation
A pop-up will appear. Click "Add extension" to confirm and complete the installation.
Enter API Key
Click on the Text2Color extension icon in your Chrome toolbar. In the popup, enter your API key from Text2Color.com and click "Save".
Start Creating
Open Canva in your browser. You'll now see the Text2Color input field in Canva's color picker. Start describing colors and watch the magic happen!
Download
Click the "Download Extension" button at the top of this page to get the Text2Color extension file.
Unzip the File
Extract the downloaded file to a folder on your computer.
Open Chrome Extensions
Type "chrome://extensions" in your Chrome address bar and press Enter.
Enable Developer Mode
Look for the "Developer mode" switch in the top right corner of the Extensions page and turn it on.
Load the Extension
Click on "Load unpacked" button that appears after enabling Developer mode. Navigate to the folder where you saved the Text2Color files and select it.
Enter API Key
Click on the Text2Color extension icon in your Chrome toolbar. In the popup, enter your API key from Text2Color.com and click "Save".
Start Creating
Open Canva in your browser. You'll now see the Text2Color input field in Canva's color picker. Start describing colors and watch the magic happen!
